1. Necessary cookies
BuildConnect UK uses strictly necessary authentication, session and security technologies so users can sign in, remain signed in and access information according to their account permissions. These technologies are required for the service to function and cannot be switched off through a consent preference.
2. Analytics and advertising
BuildConnect UK does not currently enable non-essential advertising or analytics cookies. If that changes, we will introduce an appropriate consent mechanism before non-essential cookies are set.
3. Third-party services
When you leave BuildConnect UK for a third-party service such as Stripe Checkout, that provider may set cookies under its own cookie and privacy notices.
4. Browser controls
You can use your browser controls to delete or block cookies, although blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent authentication or other core functions from working.
5. Contact
Questions about cookies or privacy can be sent to costi.i@oberonplc.co.uk.
6. Current technical storage details
BuildConnect UK uses first-party authentication and session storage managed through Supabase so that a user can sign in, keep an authenticated session active, refresh short-lived credentials and enforce account permissions. These credentials are strictly necessary for the service requested by a signed-in user. They remain only for the signed-in session and applicable authentication expiry/refresh period and are removed or invalidated when the user signs out or the session expires.
Authentication information may be stored using secure first-party cookies and/or browser local or session storage depending on the browser and authentication flow. The same PECR transparency principles apply to these storage and access technologies even where they are not conventional cookies.
BuildConnect UK does not currently place first-party analytics, advertising, behavioural-profiling or social-media tracking cookies. If a non-essential technology is introduced, it will not be activated before an appropriate consent mechanism is provided where required.
Stripe Checkout is opened as a separate third-party payment service. Stripe may set or access its own cookies or similar technologies for checkout, fraud prevention, payment security and related functions under Stripe's own notices. BuildConnect UK does not control those third-party cookies once you are on Stripe's service.
This technical inventory was reviewed on 15 September 2026 and should be reviewed whenever authentication, hosting, analytics, advertising or payment technology changes.
